Wind Infinity is seeking to hire an experienced contractor Bid Manager R&D Programmes to drive the growth of our R&D programme and portfolio. The successful candidate will have extensive experience submitting applications for grants in Europe and be comfortable with writing all aspects of a proposal. Responsible for developing partnerships and ideas for R&D proposals, securing funding for new projects and taking the funded project portfolio to Grant Agreement.
Role Responsibilities:
- Form novel ideas and external partnerships to submit proposals and secure funding for new R&D projects and programmes
- Develop broader strategies and plans for growing our externally-funded R&D portfolio
- Develop partnerships with Europe-based businesses and universities in the R&D space
- Keep up to date with R&D opportunities and calls in the Europe
- Partner with internal technical leaders to submit well written technical proposals
- For the projects secured, drive the start-up phase and oversee their execution
- Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work
- Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid they are working on
- Researching, writing and/or checking proposals
- Working with key members of the project team and the client organisation to obtain the information required to compile the bid
Minimum Role Requirements:
- Wide knowledge of the Europe’s funding landscape and mechanisms
- Solid experience in the R&D space
- Experience in writing of proposals and/or as a monitoring officer for R&D projects
- Track record of securing R&D funding for clients either in-house or as an external consultant
- Well networked with like-minded organisations / collaborators in the R&D space
- Experience with R&D and/or innovation, in particular the ability and instinct for developing novel ideas with customers/users/technology providers
- Extensive experience writing proposals/applications for R&D funding, defining, scoping and operationalizing new R&D projects, including work packages, resourcing and priorities

You should be able to deliver presentations and communicate effectively at all levels.
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research and consultation on Renewables Market
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of the Wind Power industry and related markets being researched
- Understand the needs of the Wind Infinity and clients in order to target research to the company’s benefit
- Contact companies and agencies who can provide useful financial data
- Create clear and useful reports and recommendations for organisational use
- Convert findings and complex data into tables, written reports and graphs clients can understand.
